We are a small family of 2 fire and 2 earth benders. I REALLY loved your reference to fighting fire with fire, as a T3 and would love to look more into that idea. I love that by learning our types, we not only come to a place of peace within ourselves, but we find all of these amazing "super powers" that have been waiting to be used to integrate us with the rest of the world! I love that we're able to bring these concepts to our children! Loved this!Cecilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00831078733933932809noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4246594912093066166.post-14825666650616558412012-11-13T07:46:39.954-08:002012-11-13T07:46:39.954-08:00May I just say W-O-W! As an Earthbender, myself, I sincerely appreciate the value and impact your dream holds. When they were little, I dubbed them "The Four Points of the Compass." The Energy Profiling confirms my read on them, but of course we didn't have this system back then. How I wish I'd had this program when they were young. But it's never too late! As they become independent young adults, I realize that I've done a pretty good job of honoring who they are - even when it goes against "the norm."
I LOVE how you're raising your kids. And I particularly agree with your last comment.Helenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01790279565171503115noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4246594912093066166.post-49693496958502366802012-11-12T09:07:03.393-08:002012-11-12T09:07:03.393-08:00Hi! I'm a huge fan of Carol's work, and was directed to this post from a Facebook forum on It's Just My Nature.

I just finished reading The Child Whisperer myself even though I don't have children. I've been a Dressing Your Truth devotee for several months, and I found loads of clarification and insights in TCW that the beauty profiling system left me hungry for. After all, parent or childless, we were all children once.

Tying Energy Profiling to The Last Airbender is a stroke of genius, and I'm especially touched by your Type 2 son's self-acceptance as a Waterbender--what a wonderful gift.

As a Type 4, I could go on an on in an attempt to be thorough, but I'll rein myself in and just say again, thank you for this inspiring post...and also, for your beautiful words about Type 4. I'm borrowing that image! :D Annehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13943854290539335426noreply@blogger.com
